I’ve never seen anyone learn a song that way. Great video! I also think songs sounds better when singers cover songs in their own voice instead of trying to make it sound like the original. You can feel the sincerity in their voice when it’s their own.

its the shift from low to high that gets me, i cannot belt at all because i have a very soft voice naturally, which sounds decent in the lower parts but does not help me in the higher parts. any tips on how to build up your voice to a belt without straining it? i always had trouble with that.

You must listen to the first album the warning with headphones, then watch live in Tokyo, which basically is the album the warning videotaped live before they even released the album. I saw Queensrÿche do the warning live album with iron maiden at radio City Hall and it was one of the greatest concerts ever, literally Queensrÿche played in my hometown and I simply cannot go see them again because Geoff is no longer with the band either is Chris DeGarmo and Scott Rosenfeld Rockenfeld did not play drums this week

The piano player here, is an original member of the band. “Sinful Passion” ("Greshnaya Strast” in Russian) was first time performed by the band in 1998.Batyrkhan Kamaluly Shukenov was a singer, musician, composer, and poet. After leaving the group in 2000, Batyrkhan began his solo career. . Unfortunately Batyrkhan Shukenov died at age 52 from a heart attack. I have read the lament (similar to a muslim call to prayer ) Dimash added to the piece is in honour/ memory of him.

I knew a couple of Nightwish songs from my "pre-kids" period. I just discovered this song a couple of weeks ago and it touched my heart so much. I saw a lot of reactions and this one might be one of the of best. I mean, say nothing read body language to feel what he's feeling. You can't be enjoying and analyzing at the same time. Hah! This is something I used to do in my bedroom / dorm. Who knew it was helpful xD I get so caught up in trying to sound like my favorite singers that I get stuck in yelling a lot. I have to try this again to see how it helps reel my voice back in!

Hi, I'm using my wife's channel. Great video. As I recall, Jeff Tate did have a voice teacher who taught him how to use a very very strong falsetto or something like that if that's possible. Somehow he mixed his chest voice. What is falsetto or something like that? That makes sense. I think it was a guy somewhere in Seattle or something that taught him???????
